Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Gites (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Nie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nie lands with a good body shot.
Gites moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Gites gets the takedown into side control.
Nie tries to buck Gites off but Gites is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Nie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Gites is looking for a kimura but Nie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gites to get the leverage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gites is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nie is just riding it out for now. Gites eventually gives up the hold.

Nie tries to lock up and control but Gites gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Gites swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nie is now in Gites's guard. A big mistake from Gites there, giving up the dominant position!
Nie wants to control from the top but Gites keeps moving.

Nie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Nie seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Nie has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Nie feints a jab promting Gites to slip. Nie then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gites slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Gites is trying to drag Nie to the mat but Nie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Nie takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gites feints and then cracks Nie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nie down.

Gites throws a shot from downtown. Nie moves away and avoids it.

Nie lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Oh Gites is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nie throws a big shot that misses.
Nie Throws a clean left jab. Nie Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Gites's chin! Gites crumbles to the ground and Nie follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Nie!
