Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armando Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Armando Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James tries to clinch up but Lopez circles away and keeps his distance.
Lopez misses with a few strikes there.
James shoots in and drives through. Lopez sprawls well.
James fails with an attempt to clinch.
Donk. Lopez catches James right on the button with a cross.
James has a takedown stuffed.
Lopez looks to land a combination but James avoids it well.

James bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
James controls the position.
James could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
James tries to score with some ground and pound. Lopez controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Lopez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, James asserts his dominance and retains side control.
James trying to control the action but Lopez is working from the bottom.
James is staying tight to Lopez's torso, preventing him from escaping.

James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lopez keeps working.
Lopez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lopez throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends James stumbling backwards into the cage! James bounces back off the cage towards Lopez, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Lopez lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Lopez celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
