Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Milky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bycson Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martinez closes the distance and pushes Milky back into the cage.

Milky is fighting off a takedown attempt but Martinez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Milky to the mat. Milky regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Milky looking for a guillotine here but Martinez defends easily.

Milky is working an open guard so Martinez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Milky shoots in looking for a takedown. Martinez tries to sprawl out of it but Milky keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Martinez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Milky bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The ground and pound from Milky seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Milky trying to control the action but Martinez is working from the bottom.
Martinez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Martinez gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Martinez trying to hold on to Milky's head to control him but Milky postures up.
Martinez is pressing down on Milky's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Martinez is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Milky has his hands clasped together but Martinez extends an breaks Milky's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Martinez.
