Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Shawn Kowalski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Born!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Born defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kowalski.

Kowalski moves into range and clinches up with Born.
Kowalski tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Born prevents Kowalski from breaking the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Born throws an elbow but misses.

Born pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Born wants to clinch up but Kowalski keeps it at a distance.
Kevin Born seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kowalski fails with a takedown attempt.

Kowalski goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Kevin Born has been cut.

Kowalski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Born tries to avoid it but Kowalski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Born to the ground. Born escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Born cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

I would just about give that final round to Kevin Born.
