PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bastien Leblanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sadeeq Bahadurzada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bahadurzada looks to land a left hand but Leblanc moved out of range nicely.
Bahadurzada looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bahadurzada lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Leblanc throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bahadurzada's waist but Bahadurzada gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leblanc off to one side.

Leblanc gets a clinch.

Leblanc pushes Bahadurzada up against the cage in a clinch.
Bahadurzada is trying to force a seperation but Leblanc has the dominant position.

Leblanc manages to break the clinch.
A swing and a miss from Bahadurzada.
A telegraphed right hand from Leblanc misses the target.
Bahadurzada loads up on a big right hand but Leblanc slips the punch.
No luck for Leblanc with that takedown attempt.
Leblanc throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bahadurzada.
Leblanc shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bahadurzada defends it nicely.

Leblanc manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bahadurzada manages to get himself to full guard.

Leblanc is pushing down on Bahadurzada's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bahadurzada is fighting to maintain full guard but Leblanc has managed to sneak the leg through.

Leblanc has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Leblanc rushes Bahadurzada and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Leblanc ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Leblanc no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Leblanc is looking to sinch up a triangle. Bahadurzada throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Leblanc's body to avoid the submission. Leblanc has instead reached around Bahadurzada's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Leblanc arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
