The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hall takes one on the button.
It looks like Col. John T. Hall has been cut.
Bjorn instigates a clinch.
Hall wants a takedown.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bjorn creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bjorn misses with some punches.
Hall has Bjorn pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hall pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bjorn tumbling to the mat - Hall dives into Bjorn's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bjorn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bjorn wants it to stay on the feet.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch but Bjorn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bjorn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bjorn looking very determined here, making life difficult for Hall.
Bjorn is trying to get back to his feet but Hall has full control of the position and if anything, Bjorn has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Hall looking to break Bjorn's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bjorn remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hall will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Hall lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Bjorn hold on?!
