Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Overeem Alaister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hayato Nakahara!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alaister throws a head kick but Nakahara moves out of range.
Nakahara throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Alaister tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nakahara is in Alaister's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alaister not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Alaister preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Alaister wants to stand and escape but Nakahara is having none of it.
Alaister looking to control.
Alaister keeping moving, preventing Nakahara from controlling successfully.
Nakahara missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Nakahara stays in close to Alaister's body and controls the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nakahara looks to land a left hand but Alaister moved out of range nicely.
Alaister fails with a takedown attempt.
Alaister shoots in but no luck this time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alaister moves in looking to clinch but Nakahara pushes him off.
Nakahara jabs Alaister to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nakahara fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nakahara closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nakahara gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Alaister regains guard.
Nakahara trying to control but Alaister is working from the bottom.
Alaister is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Alaister is breathing heavily.
Nakahara trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nakahara trying to control the position from guard on top but Alaister is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nakahara drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Nakahara seems to have locked his on tight now - Alaister screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Nakahara, as he picks up the win!
