Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Troby Meida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen McGarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meida comes into the arena with CB Sangue bom blaring out of the sound system. McGarry has chosen Hugh Laurie - You Don't Know My Mind as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meida shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Meida takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Troby Meida has been cut.

McGarry lands a big shot that drops Meida! Can he finish him?

Meida is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGarry works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Oh Meida is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGarry takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
It looks like McGarry might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
McGarry tries to pass to full mount but Meida defends it.
Meida seems to have got his legs back now.
McGarry is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Meida is trying to stand up here but McGarry is controlling him well.
McGarry perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Stephen McGarry hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

McGarry shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Meida is trying to defend but McGarry finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Well, if McGarry is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
