Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie O Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and One Turd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think O Hare might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Starland Vocal Band - Afternoon Delight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Hare is looking to chop away at Turd's legs.
O Hare tries to clinch but Turd moves out of range.
Eddie O Hare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from O Hare is defended easily by Turd.
O Hare misses with a right hand
and Turd counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. O Hare is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Turd lands with a shot to the body.
O Hare checks a leg kick.
A head kick from O Hare lands but Turd takes it in his stride.
Turd moves out of range of the strikes.
Turd has his takedown stuffed
and O Hare counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
O Hare misses with a wild body shot.
Turd tries for a takedown but O Hare sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Turd blocks a jab.
Turd swings for the body but O Hare moves out of range.
O Hare fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turd will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A nice inside leg kick there by O Hare. That's going to slow Turd down.
Turd tries a head kick but it misses.
O Hare ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turd moves away.

O Hare shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turd but Turd pushes him off and we're back to square one.
O Hare avoids the head kick by Turd.

Turd closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Turd lands in his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
O Hare wants to sweep but no luck.
O Hare bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Turd's guard.
Turd tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turd tries to roll over but O Hare keeps him under control.

O Hare avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
O Hare sitting in guard here, content to control.
Turd wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

O Hare slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Turd is trying to escape the position but O Hare is controlling the position.

Turd is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Turd tries to roll over but O Hare keeps him under control.
O Hare uses his free foot to push down on Turd's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Turd.

O Hare throws a head kick but Turd moves out of range.
Turd throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around O Hare's waist but O Hare gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turd off to one side.
O Hare fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Turd.
O Hare shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Turd takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Turd with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling O Hare to score with a decent uppercut.

O Hare walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Turd checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

O Hare steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Turd. That one must have hurt.
O Hare ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Turd thows a body shot but no joy.
Turd misses the shot to the body.
O Hare connects with a jab.
Turd steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Hare.
Turd tried to score with a low kick but O Hare checks it.

O Hare is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Turd's half guard.
Turd wants to improve his position but O Hare is controlling well.

Eddie O Hare overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

O Hare is taking a breather. Turd says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
O Hare is trying to control the action in half guard but Turd is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

O Hare seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

O Hare dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Turd. That did some damage!
This has been an exciting period of action!
O Hare swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Turd throws an uppercut from half a mile away. O Hare sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Turd throws a sloppy head kick and O Hare moves out of range easily.
Turd misses with the combination.
Turd takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
O Hare connects with a leg kick. Turd looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Turd shoots in for a takedown but O Hare shows good takedown defense.
O Hare connects with the punch.
O Hare lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
O Hare blocks a low kick nicely.
O Hare connects with an inside leg kick.
