Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Safdar Al Razi!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Razi feints and then cracks Van Oeffelen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Van Oeffelen down.
Al Razi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Al Razi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Van Oeffelen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Van Oeffelen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Al Razi to the ground. Van Oeffelen is now in Al Razi's guard.

Al Razi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Van Oeffelen stacks Al Razi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Van Oeffelen!

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Al Razi looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Van Oeffelen! Submission of the night perhaps?
