Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Carmichelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Lennard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Lennard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmichelle blocks a head kick by Lennard.
Left hook, right uppercut from Carmichelle.
Carmichelle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Carmichelle keeps the fight on the outside.
Carmichelle works over Lennard's head and body with a nice combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carmichelle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lennard's waist but Lennard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carmichelle off to one side.

Carmichelle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
