Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ruent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes to the cage accompanied by Got Money. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Coleman throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ruent blocks it with crossed arms.

Some bone on bone action there as Coleman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Coleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ruent's waist but Ruent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coleman off to one side.
Ruent moves into the clinch.
Ruent lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Coleman backwards.
Coleman is trying to pull guard but Ruent turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Ruent breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ruent does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Coleman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ruent avoids it really well and circles away.

Ruent drives through and clinches with Coleman against the cage.
Ruent swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Coleman keeps control of Ruent as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Coleman gets through Ruent's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Coleman jumps guard but Ruent stands there with Coleman around his waist. Coleman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ruent creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Coleman's defenses.

Ruent makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Ruent lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ruent fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Coleman.

Coleman seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Ruent shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Coleman is backing up but Ruent catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Coleman covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Ruent Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
