The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penduko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Penduko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Penduko swings around for an armbar but Ricardo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Penduko's guard.
Penduko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
