The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyssand misses with a looping left.
Michael slips a jab and a cross from Lyssand.
Michael uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lyssand.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Michael.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Michael landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Michael tries to advance to mount but Lyssand denies him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Michael tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lyssand is looking for a sweep.
Michael is working to tighten is grip on Lyssand's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lyssand has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Michael is really squeezing tight and eventually Lyssand passes out! Michael breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
