Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaoru Hanayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Mansikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mansikka has chosen Sattuu as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mansikka ducks right into an uppercut from Hanayama.
Hanayama throws a hook to the side of Mansikka's head but Mansikka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hanayama connects with an inside leg kick.

Mansikka has managed to clinch.
Mansikka makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hanayama wants to take the fight to the mat but Mansikka manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Hanayama misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hanayama throws a leg kick but Mansikka moved away.
Hanayama throws a front kick aimed at Mansikka's knee but Mansikka avoids it well.
Hanayama shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mansikka defends it nicely.
Teppo Mansikka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mansikka throws a push kick but Hanayama slaps the foot to one side.

Mansikka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hanayama manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hanayama bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hanayama throws a strike aimed at the side of Mansikka's head but Mansikka avoids it well.
Hanayama is chipping away with strikes.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Teppo Mansikka will probably get the nod.

Mansikka unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Hanayama! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Mansikka is unloading with more strikes now! Hanayama drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

In his post fight interview, Teppo Mansikka started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
