The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean doesn't manage to clinch there - Benkowski circles away.
Benkowski drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dean keeping full guard, as Benkowski tries to pass.
Dean wants to get back to his feet but Benkowski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Benkowski stands and throws Dean's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Benkowski scoring with punches and elbows.
Benkowski working the ground and pound but Dean is defending the strikes.
What's Dean going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Benkowski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dean, who protects the arm well.

Benkowski tries to advance to mount but Dean denies him.
Benkowski in side control, throwing shots but Dean defends.
Benkowski connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dean some visible discomfort.
Benkowski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Benkowski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Benkowski tries to advance to mount but can't.

Benkowski in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Dean is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
