Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takuma Uchida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uchida has chosen Pride as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Takeshi lands a good knee to the midsection. Uchida won't want to take too many of those.
Uchida has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Takeshi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Takeshi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Takeshi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Uchida manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Takeshi on his heels. He'll look to pass Takeshi's guard now, I'm sure.

Uchida works to advance to full mount. Takeshi defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Uchida tries to reverse the position but Takeshi maintains control.
Uchida slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Takeshi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Uchida with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Takeshi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Uchida is just riding it out for now. Takeshi eventually gives up the hold.
Ichi Takeshi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Uchida has his feet on Takeshi's thighs here. He's pushed Takeshi off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Takeshi screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
