The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Khan. Menezes shrugs it off though.
Menezes has a takedown stuffed.
Khan leaves Menezes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Menezes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Charles Menezes has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A punch combination from Menezes misses.

Khan sends Menezes crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Khan is motioning to the referee to let Menezes up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Menezes is rocked!

Menezes is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him?
Menezes looks gassed!
Khan finds Menezes's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Menezes flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Khan lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Menezes will be OK.
