Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Speed might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Ramones / Blitzkrieg Bop. Kalashnikov has chosen Leningrad Cowboys - Those Were The Days as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed swings for the body but Kalashnikov moves out of range.
Kalashnikov motions for Speed to come forward. Kalashnikov throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kalashnikov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Speed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kalashnikov was well out of range. Poor timing from Speed.
Speed throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Speed checks a leg kick nicely.
Speed with a nice cross.
Kalashnikov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Speed looks to score with a jab to the body but Kalashnikov is just out of range.
Kalashnikov cracks Speed with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kalashnikov throws a leg kick which misses Speed's front leg but catches the back leg as Speed tries to avoid it.
Kalashnikov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Speed moves away.
Speed just misses with a punch to the body.
Speed avoids a kick to the body.
Kalashnikov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Speed takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sloppy strikes from Speed. Those never looked like landing.
Kalashnikov loads up on a big right hand but Speed slips the punch.

A nice inside leg kick there by Kalashnikov. That's going to slow Speed down.

Speed lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Speed throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kalashnikov counters with a thumping low kick.
Kalashnikov connects with a right hand. Speed shakes it off.
Speed throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kalashnikov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kalashnikov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kalashnikov tries a low kick but Speed avoids it.
Kalashnikov just misses with a punch to the body.
Speed throws a poor cross that misses
and Kalashnikov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Speed moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Speed lands with a hook. Kalashnikov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Speed throws a nice looking combination but Kalashnikov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kalashnikov needs to keep his hands up - Speed had a free shot at his head there.
Kalashnikov throws a lazy right hand but Speed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kalashnikov closes the distance looking to clinch
and Speed counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Speed connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kalashnikov momentarily.
Speed moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kalashnikov is rocked!
Kalashnikov bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Speed comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Kalashnikov falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kalashnikov was out before he hit the floor!
