And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eddie Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Edwards regains half guard.
Jackson is looking to advance position but Edwards won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson is working hard here to advance position.
Edwards is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Jackson is working for a submission of some sort.

Jackson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Edwards is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Edwards has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.

Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Edwards really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
