Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Evan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheldon Labasan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheldon Labasan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sheldon Labasan!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labasan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown but Labasan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Henderson gets a double leg takedown into Labasan's guard.

Henderson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Henderson throws a head kick that Labasan semi-blocks.

It looks like Sheldon Labasan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Henderson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Labasan quickly recovers to half guard.

Labasan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Labasan is trying to escape back to his feet but Henderson uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Henderson grinds an elbow into Labasan's temple.
Henderson slows the pace down.

Henderson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Henderson advances to mount.
Labasan seems to have recovered his senses.
Labasan is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Labasan looks gassed!
Henderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Henderson moves to the back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Henderson working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Labasan is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Henderson has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Labasan taps out!
