The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Texas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brody takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Alexis Texas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Texas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brody was well out of range. Poor timing from Texas.

and Texas counters with a nice uppercut.

Brody doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Texas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brody looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A head kick from Texas lands but Brody takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Texas just misses with a punch to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brody crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Texas - the referee stops the clock and Brody gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Texas. Brody manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Brody has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Texas.

Oh Brody is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brody throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Texas lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Brody crumples to the floor! Texas milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
