Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heinrich Speer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Tang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Heinrich Speer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Speer. No joy for Tang on that attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jackie Tang was stalling too much, according to the referee.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That kick from Speer tenderised Tang's leg. Tang is trying to keep his angry face on.

Tang shoots in for a takedown but Speer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Heinrich Speer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackie Tang.
Tang stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Speer.
Tang takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Speer - the referee stops the clock and Tang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Speer. Tang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Speer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jackie Tang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tang takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Speer tries a head kick but it misses.
Speer keeps Tang at a distance using the push kick.
Speer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Speer lands a leg kick that knocks Tang off balance momentarily.
Speer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tang looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tang takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tang takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tang shoots in for a double leg but Speer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Speer is looking to slow Tang down with leg kicks.

Speer scores with a leg kick.
Tang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Speer.
Tang's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Speer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tang to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Tang is pushing down on Speer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Speer is fighting to maintain full guard but Tang has managed to sneak the leg through.

Tang should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Tang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Speer keeps working.

Speer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Speer tries to get out of the position.
Speer is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Tang is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Speer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tang cracks Speer with a big right hand but Speer just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Tang looks up at the clock and then as Speer takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tang smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Tang lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Speer down.
Tang is putting a hurting on Speer here, landing some big shots from side control.
Tang controls the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Speer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tang on the ground.
Let's hope that Tang has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Heinrich Speer.
