Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Cacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ik Lik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Cacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ik Lik!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lik with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Lik tries to work over Cacho's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lik connects with a knee to the head.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Lik.
Lik fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cacho is looking to take this one to the mat.
Lik is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Lik manages to break the clinch.
Lik stuffs the takedown attempt from Cacho. Cacho gets slowly back to his feet.
Lik fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cacho throws a sloppy head kick and Lik moves out of range easily.

Lik fails in his attempt to clinch.

Lik clinches.
Cacho wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lik has him pressed against the cage.
Cacho has had enough of the clinch but Lik keeps him there for the moment.
Lik landing knees to the body.

Cacho successfully pulls guard.
Lik trying to stand up but can't free himself from Cacho's guard.
Lik wants to control from the top but Cacho keeps moving.
Lik content to stall in guard here.
Cacho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cacho isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lik stacks Cacho on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lik!

Lik in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Lik advances nicely into full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cacho really wants to buck Lik off and get back to his feet.
Cacho tries to hold on but Lik postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lik tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Lik moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Cacho has worked his arm free - good work by Cacho!
Cacho is looking to regain half guard here but Lik keeps moving and retains side control.
Lik wants to control but Cacho is keeping him busy.
Cacho sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cacho wants to control but Lik is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cacho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cacho.
Lik is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cacho is trying to control the position but Lik postures up.
Cacho is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lik is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Lik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cacho swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cacho is breathing heavily.
Cacho is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

ik Lik dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Cacho throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lik clinches.
Lik connects with a nasty looking knee right to Cacho's face.
Lik stalls.
A right hand to the body from Lik.

Lik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lik tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Cacho drives through and clinches with Lik against the cage.
Cacho is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Cacho takes a knee right on the jaw!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lik stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Lik scores with a knee to the head.
Cacho tries to pull guard but Lik holds him up against the cage and eventually Cacho drops back down to his feet.

Cacho tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lik just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Cacho. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cacho looks to throw a body kick

and Lik holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lik unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cacho lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cacho tries to pull guard but Lik holds him up against the cage and eventually Cacho drops back down to his feet.

Lik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lik blocks a head kick by Cacho.
Lik tries to close the distance and clinch but Cacho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cacho misses with an attempted mid kick.

Lik moves into the clinch successfully.
Cacho takes a knee to the side of the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lik working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Lik lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cacho backwards.

Lik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kevin Cacho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lik lands a nice knee to the body.
Lik working Cacho over with knees to the body.

Lik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lik pushes Cacho up against the cage in a clinch.

Lik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lik is defended easily by Cacho.
Cacho looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lik is fending him off so far but Cacho persists. Nope, Lik circles away and we're back to standing.

Lik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cacho takes a knee right on the jaw!

Lik lands a knee to the head.
Cacho throws a head punch that misses.
Lik landing knees to the head.
Lik gets through Cacho's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Lik breaks the clinch.
Lik tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lik tries to clinch up.

Lik scores a takedown into full mount!
This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lik avoids the attempt from Cacho to control.
Lik throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cacho because Lik loaded up on that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

ik Lik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Lik is looking to clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lik's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Cacho is trying to break free.
Cacho wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cacho trying to control the position but instead, Lik has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cacho into the cage.
Lik lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Lik tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Cacho misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lik manages to break the clinch.

Lik moves into the clinch.
Cacho jumps guard but Lik stands there with Cacho around his waist. Cacho gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lik fails with an attempt to clinch.
A combination from Cacho does no damage.
Lik fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cacho keeps the fight on the outside.
Lik tries to clinch but Cacho is having none of it.

Cacho moves into the clinch successfully.
Lik utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cacho tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lik smiles and moves away.

Lik takes the fight into the clinch.
Cacho drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lik pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Cacho. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lik leaves Cacho with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lik doesn't manage to clinch there - Cacho circles away.

Lik goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Oh Cacho is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lik lands with a short shot to the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lik unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cacho lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Lik has Cacho pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Cacho is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Lik - that's hurt Cacho badly! Oh, another knee lands and Cacho is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Cacho doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). ik Lik!
A very excited looking ik Lik made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
