Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bubbles Ticklepants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Trombone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ticklepants's entrance music is Links 2,3,4. A fine choice. Trombone has chosen Back in Black by AC/DC as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trombone misses with a double jab
and Ticklepants makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Trombone throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
An inside leg kick lands from Ticklepants.
Ticklepants lands with a kick to the ribs.
Trombone misses with a combination
and Ticklepants counters with a low kick, right behind Trombone 's knee.
Ticklepants ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Trombone moves away.
Ticklepants pulls out of a head kick attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ticklepants misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ticklepants scoring well with a low kick there.
Trombone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ticklepants quickly recovers to half guard.

Ticklepants has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

and Ticklepants finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Ticklepants will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Bubbles Ticklepants has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rusty Trombone.
Trombone throws a leg kick
and Ticklepants counters with a head kick that drops Trombone to the mat! Trombone scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Rusty Trombone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ticklepants cracks Trombone with a hook to the temple - Trombone is on wobbly legs here! Ticklepants swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Trombone falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ticklepants wins by TKO!
