Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cecil Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott moves into the clinch.
Martinez misses with a hook to the ribs.
Abbott throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Martinez blocks it with crossed arms.
Abbott lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Cecil Martinez has been cut.
Martinez takes a knee right on the jaw!
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Abbott.
Abbott creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Martinez's defenses.
Martinez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Abbott is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Martinez to the mat. Martinez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Abbott wants to stand but Martinez has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Abbott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martinez on the ground.
Martinez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Martinez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abbott tries to avoid it but Martinez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abbott to the ground. Abbott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Martinez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
