Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hector Munez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex De Jong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex De Jong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hector Munez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex De Jong!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munez is looking to clinch but De Jong is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown by Munez or perhaps it was just good defense by De Jong which made him look bad.

De Jong clobbers Munez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.


It looks like Hector Munez has been cut.

De Jong tries to bum rush Munez with a series of wild strikes but Munez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

De Jong scores with a one two! Munez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

De Jong slaps away a takedown attempt from Munez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Munez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hector Munez's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
De Jong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Munez connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused De Jong some visible discomfort.

Munez stands up and beckons De Jong to his feet.

De Jong lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hector Munez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Alex De Jong!
Alex De Jong gave a mention to nope in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
