Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eagle Spurghoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yin Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eagle Spurghoff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yin Hong!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong shoots in but Spurghoff avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hong has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Spurghoff finds it's way round the side to connect with Hong's head.
Yin Hong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hong closes the distance and clinches up with Spurghoff, looking for a takedown. Hong pushes Spurghoff against the cage but Spurghoff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Spurghoff wants to clinch.
Hong shoots in but Spurghoff avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Eagle Spurghoff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yin Hong.
Spurghoff throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hong.
Spurghoff fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hong throws a head kick but Spurghoff moves out of range.
Hong works Spurghoff's body with a nice hook.
Eagle Spurghoff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Spurghoff wants to clinch up but Hong keeps it at a distance.
Spurghoff scores with a three punch combo!
A left and a right from Spurghoff both land. Nice combination.
Spurghoff throws a head kick that misses.
Hong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spurghoff swivels and escapes.

Hong bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hong throws an elbow but Spurghoff slips to the side and avoids it well.

Hong is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spurghoff knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hong is working to tighten is grip on Spurghoff's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Spurghoff has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hong is really squeezing tight and eventually Spurghoff passes out! Hong breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
