Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Percy Poe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, First Second!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Second wants to clinch

and Poe counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Poe.
Second is looking to stand up but Poe isn't so interested in that idea.
Second not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Poe drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Poe jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Second is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Poe has gone for a leg lock! Second slips out almost immediately though and dives into Poe's guard.

Poe has his foot on Second's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Second works his way back into a safe position though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Poe keeping moving, preventing Second from controlling successfully.

Poe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Second defends well.
Poe could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Second trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Second wants to control from the top but Poe keeps moving.
Second stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Poe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Poe looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Second throws a big right hand that misses.

Second stands up from Poe's guard - Second perhaps looking for a knockout.
Second moves to clinch but Poe breaks away

Second is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Poe is controlling him.
Second is trying to control the position but Poe postures up.

Poe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Second really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Poe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Second has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Poe to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Second is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Poe pulls down on the head and he's put Second to sleep! This one is all over!
