Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Davide Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pahis Jerry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pahis Jerry has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Davide Jesus 's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Davide Jesus !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pahis Jerry!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jesus fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jesus gets caught napping as Jerry dives in and scores a takedown. Jesus manages to retain guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Jesus feints and as Jerry raises his hands in defense, Jesus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jesus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jesus wants to pass the guard but Jerry is keeping the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Jerry gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Jesus is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jerry can't fight it off and eventually Jesus manages to take the fight to the floor. Jerry looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jesus drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jerry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jerry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jerry!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jerry creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jesus sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Jerry is looking to take a break and control but Jesus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jesus tries to escape but Jerry is in control.

Jesus manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Jerry misses with a takedown attempt - Jesus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Davide Jesus will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jerry is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jesus is defended easily by Jerry.

Jerry shoots in looking for a takedown. Jesus tries to sprawl out of it but Jerry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jesus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jerry sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Jesus tries to pass to full mount but Jerry defends it.
Jerry wants to get back to his feet.
Jerry is refusing to be controlled, as Jesus sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Davide Jesus will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jesus , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
