Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nuriel Leonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by Dead N Gone. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nuriel Leonard!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Parker misses.
Leonard throws a series of punches but Parker avoids them all with ease.
Leonard slips a straight right by Parker.
Parker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leonard manages to avoid it.
Parker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Leonard scores with a takedown into Parker's guard.
Parker is trying to control the position but Leonard postures up.
Leonard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Parker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Parker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Leonard's guard.
Leonard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Parker passes Leonard's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Parker decides to stand up.

Parker throws out a leg kick but Leonard moves out of range and Parker only half commits.

Leonard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Parker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leonard somewhat.

and Parker counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Leonard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Parker back to the cage. Leonard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Leonard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it.
Parker takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Leonard circles away from the clinch attempt.

Leonard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Leonard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Leonard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively.

Leonard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parker is fending him off so far but Leonard persists. Nope, Parker circles away and we're back to standing.

Parker scores with a kick to the body.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch but Leonard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Parker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Leonard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parker sprawls well. Parker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Leonard gets slowly back to his feet.

Leonard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Leonard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
