The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentinov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Evans swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Evans lands a left and a right that sends Valentinov crashing to the canvas! Evans dives into mount looking to finish!
It looks like Boris Valentinov has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Evans loads up with a big shot that hurts Valentinov! He's pulled Evans in close but Evans has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Valentinov survive? More strikes from Evans and Valentinov is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
