Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Janek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanki Onki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onki shoots and misses
and Janek counters with a big head kick but Onki shrugs it off.
Janek is looking to land body kicks.

Janek shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Onki manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kanki Onki hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Onki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Janek tries to avoid it but Onki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Janek to the ground. Janek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Onki chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Janek can pounce on him.

Janek has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Onki is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Janek.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Onki shoots in but Janek avoids the takedown attempt easily.
