With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leo Spartan!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartan throws a sloppy head kick and Boyka moves out of range easily.
Boyka fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Spartan. No joy for Boyka on that attempt.
Spartan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Spartan.
Boyka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spartan circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuri Boyka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spartan scores with a jab to the body.
Boyka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spartan's waist but Spartan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boyka off to one side.

Spartan moves into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Spartan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boyka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Spartan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Boyka! Spartan is hurt baaadly! Boyka is firing away with more strikes - Spartan is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
