PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chakrabongse Bhuvanath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennett has chosen Stemm - Face The Pain as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bhuvanath showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bennett.
Bennett lands a right hook to the body.
Bhuvanath fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bennett lands a nice shot to the body.
Bennett digs a good hook to Bhuvanath's body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bhuvanath throws a leg kick but Bennett sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bennett tries to score with a low kick but Bhuvanath moves his leg out of the way.
Bhuvanath takes one to the chin there.
Bennett connects with a right hand. Bhuvanath shakes it off.
Bennett connects with a single shot there.
Bhuvanath pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bennett connects with a body shot that sends Bhuvanath's belly button to the back.
Bhuvanath throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bennett's waist but Bennett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bhuvanath off to one side.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Bhuvanath - that will leave a mark!
Bennett throws a solid leg kick but Bhuvanath takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bennett.
Bennett's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bhuvanath under the eye.

Bennett scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bhuvanath doesn't seem bothered though.

Bhuvanath moves out of range of the leg kick from Bennett.
Bhuvanath fails with the takedown
and Bennett counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chakrabongse Bhuvanath. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bhuvanath checks a leg kick nicely.
Bennett lands a right hook to the body.
Bennett stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bennett wants it to stay on the feet.
Bhuvanath is breathing heavily.
Bennett scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Chakrabongse Bhuvanath has been cut.
Bennett lands a jab to the nose.
Brad Bennett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bennett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bhuvanath stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bennett throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bhuvanath drops his hands momentarily and Bennett takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bennett attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Bennett chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A left lands for Bennett.
Bennett keeps the fight on the outside.
A jab from Bennett finds it's way through Bhuvanath's defenses.
Bennett is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bhuvanath had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bennett lands a jab to the nose.
Bennett throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bhuvanath on the side of the head.
A right-left combo lands from Bennett.

Bhuvanath is rocked!
Bennett moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Oh Bhuvanath is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Bennett lands a beautiful left hook that drops Bhuvanath. Bhuvanath tries to recover but Bennett is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Bhuvanath lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
