Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oakley Bark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvi Kalaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bark comes to the ring accompanied by RUN DMC its like that. Kalaso has chosen Hank Williams SR. as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kalaso closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Kalaso misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bark.

Kalaso's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bark tries for a takedown but Kalaso circles away easily

and Kalaso counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kalaso.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kalaso trying to control but Bark is working from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Bark is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kalaso defends well.
Kalaso not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kalaso wants to control from the top but Bark keeps moving.
Bark trying to keep a closed guard but Kalaso is proving a slippery customer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kalaso slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Harvi Kalaso wasn't active enough on the ground.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kalaso is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kalaso wants to control from the top but Bark keeps moving.

Bark is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kalaso frees his head nicely. Oh but Bark has switched to an armbar! Kalaso is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
