Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dilanto madgwick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). madgwick has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. dilanto madgwick will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Garcia lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and madgwick has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from madgwick and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
dilanto madgwick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
madgwick throws a big shot that misses.
Garcia throws a leg kick that misses.
madgwick cracks Garcia with a right hand to the side of the head.

Garcia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
madgwick wants to get back to his feet but Garcia is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Garcia gets to his feet - madgwick follows without any prompting.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Garcia drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Garcia stands up and beckons madgwick to his feet.
madgwick looks gassed!
madgwick throws the kick towards the body but Garcia avoids it.
madgwick tries to bum rush Garcia with a series of wild strikes but Garcia uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
madgwick misses with a hook.
madgwick fails to land with a series of punches.
madgwick avoids a punch combination nicely.
madgwick checks a leg kick.
Garcia lands a lovely overhand right.
madgwick swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Garcia counters with a single leg into guard. madgwick didn't expect that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Garcia slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Garcia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Garcia seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down madgwick for as long as he can get away with.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Garcia sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed madgwick's guard.
madgwick is looking to escape.
madgwick is in trouble now - Garcia has advanced to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Garcia is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but madgwick won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Garcia off his unconscious opponent!
