Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Tentheros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drasek Riven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riven is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Get down on it. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Tentheros!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Drasek Riven!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riven uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tentheros.

Riven shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Riven wants to control but instead Tentheros manages to regain half guard.
Riven seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tentheros does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Riven in particular looking to stall.
Riven moves into full mount! Tentheros won't be happy about that!
Riven takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tentheros is squirming around, avoiding Riven's attempts to control the action.

Tentheros wants to hold on but Riven pushes him away.

Riven throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Riven is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Tentheros has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Tentheros!
Riven is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Riven tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tentheros is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tentheros slaps away a takedown attempt from Riven, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Riven is looking to clinch but Tentheros is avoiding it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Riven.
Riven is looking to take a break and control but Tentheros is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Riven is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tentheros knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Riven wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tentheros, who protects the arm well.

Riven is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tentheros is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Riven is keen to just control but Tentheros is a slippery customer.

Drasek Riven showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Tentheros stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tentheros wants it to stay on the feet.
Riven shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tentheros defends it nicely.

That was a close round but Ken Tentheros did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

That's time! Tentheros's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Riven moves forwards but Tentheros connects with a nice, crisp jab.
