Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Maroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilbert Schilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maroon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is yes. Schilt has chosen The Who - Baba O'Riley as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maroon takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Maroon tests Schilt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Maroon walks into a straight right hand from Schilt.
Maroon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schilt sprawls well. Schilt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maroon gets slowly back to his feet.
Schilt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Maroon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maroon.
Maroon slips under a jab.

Schilt takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Schilt throws a nice head kick!
Schilt throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Maroon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Schilt connects with an inside leg kick.
Schilt lands an overhand right.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Good standup being displayed there by Schilt as he connects with a hook.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Schilt, right into the meat.
Maroon misses with the combination.
Gilbert Schilt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Schilt misses with a few strikes there.
Maroon moves out of range as Schilt throws a body kick.
A big right from Schilt misses.

Maroon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Schilt can pounce on him.
Maroon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Maroon both land. Nice combination.
Schilt scores with a jab. Maroon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Maroon lands an overhand right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maroon misses with a double jab.
Schilt cracks Maroon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Maroon staying out of range there.
Maroon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Schilt lands a lovely overhand right.
Schilt falls off balance throwing a combination
and Maroon counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nice defenses there by Schilt.
Schilt lands a leg kick that knocks Maroon off balance momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Schilt fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Maroon on the side of the head.
Schilt is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Schilt lands a glancing blow to the side of Maroon's head.
Maroon throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Schilt counters with a left to the body.
Maroon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Maroon connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Schilt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

A looping hook to the body misses from Schilt. Maroon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Maroon throws a right and a left that Schilt avoids nicely.
Schilt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Maroon.
Gilbert Schilt seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Maroon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Maroon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Schilt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maroon shoots in but no luck this time.
Schilt comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maroon tried to score with a low kick but Schilt checks it.
Maroon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Schilt counters with a huge head kick that drops Maroon! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gilbert Schilt!
