Spliffs kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ice Cube - Smoke Some Weed. Rolen Spliffs has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spliffs with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Spliffs slips a jab from Ortiz.
Spliffs has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Spliffs throws a push kick but Ortiz slaps the foot to one side.

Spliffs throws a sloppy head kick and Ortiz moves out of range easily.
Ortiz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Spliffs lands a leg kick that knocks Ortiz off balance momentarily.

Spliffs gets caught flat footed, as Ortiz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Spliffs wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rolen Spliffs.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Spliffs takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Spliffs counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ortiz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Spliffs.
Spliffs buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spliffs connects with an inside leg kick.
Ortiz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Spliffs counters with a good low kick that Ortiz was not able to check.
Ortiz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Spliffs.
Rolen Spliffs is winning the standup battle so far.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Spliffs.
Ortiz takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Randy Ortiz has been cut.
Spliffs lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ortiz takes a step back to recover.
Ortiz is breathing heavily.
Ortiz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Spliffs. That one must have hurt.

Spliffs lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ortiz at a distance.

Spliffs sends Ortiz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Spliffs is motioning to the referee to let Ortiz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spliffs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
