Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Furuichi Takayuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lion Takanori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takanori has chosen Scary as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayuki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Takayuki has his takedown stuffed
and Takanori counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Takayuki misses with a straight right.
Takanori scores with a leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Takayuki or perhaps it was just good defense by Takanori which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Furuichi Takayuki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takanori feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Takayuki's calf.
Takayuki slips a jab from Takanori.
Takanori cracks a nice hook into Takayuki's ribs.
Takanori digs a good hook to Takayuki's body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Takanori.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Takayuki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Takanori ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Takayuki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Takayuki shoots in looking for a takedown. Takanori tries to sprawl out of it but Takayuki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Takanori manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Takanori stuffs the takedown attempt from Takayuki. Takayuki gets slowly back to his feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Takanori.
Takayuki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Takanori.
Takanori swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Takanori counters with a body kick that stops Takayuki in his tracks momentarily.

Takayuki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Takanori as he jumps to the side.
Takanori leaves Takayuki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Takanori counters with a stiff right hand.
Takanori connects with a crisp jab.

and Takanori counters with a left and a right... And another left! Takayuki is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lion Takanori!
After the fight, Lion Takanori was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
