Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emerson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odin Raveneye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odin Raveneye has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Emerson Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Odin Raveneye!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva dodges the punch combination from Raveneye.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Raveneye sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva tries for a takedown but Raveneye circles away easily
and Raveneye counters with a leg kick.
Silva tries to clinch but Raveneye is having none of it.

and Raveneye counters with a right hand to the body.
Raveneye throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Left hook, right uppercut from Raveneye.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva has managed to clinch.
Silva is trying to force a seperation but Raveneye has the dominant position.
Raveneye goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silva prevents it.

Silva gets control of Raveneye's arms and successfully pulls guard. Silva will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Raveneye stands and steps away. Silva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Raveneye lands with a nice body punch.
Raveneye lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Raveneye paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Raveneye comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Silva is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by Raveneye. That's going to slow Silva down.
Raveneye lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A jab from Raveneye does it's job there.
A shot to the liver by Raveneye. Beautiful body shot.
Raveneye scoring well with a low kick there.
Raveneye feints with a jab and clips Silva right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Silva is sent crashing into the canvas and Raveneye leaps in for the kill! Silva tries to get to his feet but Raveneye is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Silva is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Odin Raveneye!
