PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Petkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petkovic comes into the arena with BvC Crew - KOSOVO blaring out of the sound system. Vaughn has chosen Walking Tall as his entrance music. Chris Vaughn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn swinging wildly here.
Petkovic slips a straight right by Vaughn.
Vaughn swings for the body but Petkovic moves out of range.
Petkovic moves out of range of the strikes.
Vaughn moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Roman Petkovic has been cut.
Petkovic throws a nice outside leg kick.
Vaughn tests Petkovic's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Petkovic checks a leg kick.
Vaughn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vaughn.
Vaughn misses with a few strikes there.
Petkovic takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Petkovic closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chris Vaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petkovic moves away from the strike by Vaughn.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Petkovic lands a nice looking body shot.
Vaughn blocks a head kick by Petkovic.
Jab by Vaughn.
Petkovic walks straight into a right hand from Vaughn - that's dropped him! Vaughn jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Petkovic from any more punishment! Petkovic complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chris Vaughn!
A very excited looking Chris Vaughn rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
