Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel De Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Stauning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Lucas comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mais não bate. Stauning has chosen Step Up- Drowning Pool as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stauning misses with a low kick as De Lucas jumps back.
De Lucas swats away the attempt to clinch by Stauning.
Yoshi Stauning seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stauning avoids the head kick by De Lucas.
De Lucas checks a low kick from Stauning.

De Lucas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stauning can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stauning gets to his feet - De Lucas follows without any prompting.

Stauning has taken the fight to the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stauning looking to throw knees to the head but De Lucas is blocking nicely.
De Lucas tries to stall but Stauning uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
De Lucas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Stauning using the Thai plumb to throw knees but De Lucas has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

De Lucas walks into a jab.
De Lucas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stauning drops De Lucas with a right and a left! Stauning comes rushing in but De Lucas regains his composure and manages to keep Stauning in guard.

Stauning got a little sloppy there for a moment and De Lucas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stauning has managed to get both his arms back between De Lucas's legs - danger averted.

OH! De Lucas has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Stauning smells blood and charges in for the finish! Stauning unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of De Lucas sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

After the fight, Yoshi Stauning was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
