Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brock Ferguson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Kei!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kei doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Ferguson drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kei has momentary wrist control but Ferguson slips an elbow through the middle.
Ferguson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Ferguson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kei has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ferguson has managed to get both his arms back between Kei's legs - danger averted.

Kei is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ferguson is aware though and is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kei has his foot on Ferguson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ferguson works his way back into a safe position though.

Kei tries for a takedown but Ferguson circles away easily

and Ferguson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Ferguson manages to break the clinch.
Ferguson clobbers Kei with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Ferguson drops his shoulder and cracks Kei with a huge uppercut! Kei goes down! Can Ferguson finish him?

Kei is still in real trouble! Can Ferguson finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferguson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Kei covers up, he's hurt! Ferguson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Ferguson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Ferguson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
