Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Toni Rautuvaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant shoots in but Rautuvaara avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Grant displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rautuvaara throws out the jab.
Rautuvaara connects with a body shot that sends Grant's belly button to the back.
Grant walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Brandon Grant has been cut.
Rautuvaara throws a sloppy head kick and Grant moves out of range easily.
Rautuvaara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Grant defending well as Rautuvaara loads up on a big left hand.
Rautuvaara misses with a double jab.
Rautuvaara fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Grant fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rautuvaara to the ground. Grant is now in Rautuvaara's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Grant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Grant with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Grant trying to control the position from guard on top but Rautuvaara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Rautuvaara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grant on the ground.
Grant advances to half guard.

Grant is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Grant lands with a punch from half guard.

Grant is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rautuvaara doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Grant.

Grant frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Rautuvaara tries to reverse the position but Grant maintains control.
Grant has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rautuvaara's face.
