Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DJ Puggles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Kesey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Puggles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Kesey!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puggles tries to bum rush Kesey with a series of wild strikes but Kesey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kesey has Puggles up against the cage in a clinch.
Kesey tries to land knees in the clinch but Puggles avoids the damage to the body.
Kesey tries for a takedown but Puggles manages to get underhooks.

Puggles rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kesey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Puggles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kesey circles away quickly and effectively.

Puggles ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Puggles smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kesey has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kesey there as he acknowledges the shot.

Puggles fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kesey, pushing him back against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Kesey throws an elbow but misses.

Kesey changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Puggles fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Puggles turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Puggles manages to end up in side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to DJ Puggles.
