The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cranshow sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nichols instigates a clinch.
Cranshow wants to get back to striking at distance but Nichols won't allow it.
Nichols throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nichols keeps control of Cranshow as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Nichols with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Nichols misses with a hook to the ribs.
Nichols with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Dave Cranshow has been cut.
Nichols connects with a nasty looking knee right to Cranshow's face.
Cranshow blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Cranshow is trying to break the clinch but Nichols has him pressed against the ropes.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cranshow could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Nichols obliges.
Nichols has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Cranshow to the canvas! Can Cranshow beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's waved off the fight! He didn't think Cranshow was in a fit state to continue so this fight is over! Nichols is your winner!
