Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mikkel Bukholt Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson has chosen Lost In Space as his entrance music. Will Robinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nielsen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nielsen fails to land with a series of punches.
Robinson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nielsen tries to clinch up.
Robinson throws a push kick but Nielsen slaps the foot to one side.
Robinson misses with a looping left.
Robinson throws a right hand that Nielsen ducks under and follows up with a left that Nielsen also avoids with ease.
Nielsen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Robinson is out of range and Nielsen settles back down.
Robinson jabs at Nielsen's body.
Robinson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nielsen eats them both and turns towards Robinson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Robinson lands a jab to the nose.
Nielsen wants to clinch.
Nielsen tries to clinch but Robinson is having none of it.
Mikkel Bukholt Nielsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nielsen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Robinson moves away.

Robinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Robinson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Robinson.
Nielsen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Robinson.

Nielsen dives in and scores a takedown into Robinson's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nielsen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nielsen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Robinson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Robinson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Nielsen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Robinson's guard.

Nielsen is working for a submission of some sort.
Nielsen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Robinson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Nielsen.

Nielsen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Robinson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Robinson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Robinson!
Nielsen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robinson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nielsen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Robinson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Robinson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nielsen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Robinson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Nielsen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Robinson pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Robinson in particular looking to stall.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Robinson steps in with a hook that catches Nielsen right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Robinson follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Nielsen looks absolutely devastated.
