Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Kamphius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Blue Stahli-ULTRAnumb. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamphius shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alves pinned against the cage. Alves gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kamphius scores with a head kick. Alves tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Michael Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alves throws a head kick but Kamphius moves out of range.
Kamphius looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Alves takes a swing at Kamphius's ribcage but misses.
Alves punishes Kamphius's body with a nice straight punch.
A head kick from Alves lands but Kamphius takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alves is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kamphius.
Kamphius shoots in for a takedown but Alves shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Michael Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabricio Kamphius.
Alves buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kamphius fails with the takedown.
Alves punishes Kamphius's body with a nice straight punch.
Kamphius looks gassed!

Alves scores with a decent looking hook.
Alves walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kamphius drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Alves swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kamphius's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
